Terracotta has many advantages that affect the living comfort and the insulation of the house:
• thermal capacity, given by poor conductivity and good mass;
• high dissipation, thanks to the discontinuity between the joints, in particular of bent tiles;
• ability to absorb atmospheric moisture (hygroscopicity), due to the micro porosity that displaces excess moisture, reducing the risk of condensation;
• water tightness: the curved shape, particularly in the tiles, favors the flow of rainwater. The discontinuities between the joints of the elements counteract the effect of water suction;
• aesthetics: a wide choice of products and colors for those who love the tradition of more classic roofs and for those who prefer the most modern roofs.
