The Pan.Ther.A. panel was designed to provide correct thermal insulation for roofing, an optimum contribution to acoustical insulation, safe impermeabilization of the mantle, adequate ventilation and perfect anchoring of the earthenware mantle. All of this is performed by a single product (EPS150 Neopor® and mineralised wood fibre bound with Portland cement) and requires only a single phase of installation, with exceptional savings of time and money.

Ventilation: thanks to the bayonet components in polypropylene that snap into the special lodgings on the surface with a quarter turn, the bent tiles are raised 35 mm above the panel bed. In this manner, a flow of air is created underneath the bent tiles, which contributes greatly to the dissipation of heat from the sun’s rays in summer and favours the evacuation of interstitial humidity in winter. Especially shaped and bored metal elements along the line of the gutter and Inoxwind ventilated rooftop elements along the top of the roof complete the features for correct ventilation.

Fixing the bent tile: the pan bent tiles rest stably in the cradles created between the two contiguous bayonet elements. The cover bent tiles are attached, through the bore present on the upper side, to the special points of the same bayonet pieces; they are also stably blocked onto these elements with a wedge clip that prevents it from becoming unhooked. If it is necessary, for example, to replace a damaged bent tile, the clips can be removed with a simple manual operation, using a flat-pointed screwdriver.

Installation of the integrated roof tile system: the roof  tiles rest stably on a set of double metallic splines, which keep them raised and ventilated. In the case of considerable gradients, they may be screwed into place. The vertical splines are anchored through polypropylene studs, to be inserted with a fourth of a turn onto the upper part of the polypropylene pins, which pass through the panels and come out flush with the surface. The horizontal splines, in turn, are inserted over the vertical ones, with a special sliding fitting; their pitch or interval may vary from 6 mm to 6 mm. Once the panels have been installed, they have a continuous and perfectly smooth surface, where you can move quickly and safely. The double metallic splines. The double metallic splines are installed on the flat tiles, without ever hindering the movements of the installers.

The Palladio, modular panels for the installation of tiles, moulded in EPS100 Neopor® (EPS200 Neopor® for raised elements), provides considerable mechanical resistance for raised elements for the attachment of tiles, thanks to the high density with which they have been moulded. The optimum flow of air underneath the mantle dissipates summer heat and favours the dispersion of humidity in winter. The special perimeter fittings prevent the infiltration of water and eliminate thermal bridges. A specific panel for the gutter line, with a shorter spacing and with higher raised elements, keeps the first tile in line with the edge, without having to resort to additional raising elements.
